Signs
Many people call out to their angels, asking for a sign. Indeed, signs are all around us! Beyond the well-known ones, I'd like to focus on the personal signs meant just for you.
The bird that appears at your window when you're seeking hope.
The uplifting text message that arrives precisely when you need encouragement.
The song that plays on the radio at the exact moment you need to hear it.
Be mindful of the songs you hear and those that spontaneously come to mind. For instance, during a low point, as I was dwelling on negative thoughts, the song "Celebrate good times..." began to play, signaling a message from my angels. It reminded me to be grateful for the things worth celebrating in my life.
Observe the nature around you. What do you encounter when you're outdoors? Are butterflies present? Do dragonflies frequently visit you? Or perhaps you're approached by stinging bees? Consider what animals or insects are drawn to you. For example, my stepson shared a story about his father, my ex-husband. On a day meant for engagement photo shooting near a flower garden, his fiancée was stung by a wasp on her left hand. In her attempt to shake off the wasp, her engagement ring flew into a yellow rose bush. As my ex-husband searched through the roses to retrieve the ring, he was stung three times on his left ring finger. I believe the angels were conveying a message to them, and the fact that this story reached me suggests I received a sign as well. He had three ex-wives and received three stings on his ring finger—notice the signs!
Consider the times you've been frustrated, like when an invitation email didn't reach your inbox, or you missed a dinner date because the text or voicemail came through too late. Or perhaps you found yourself behind a slow driver on a one-way street. The message is clear: slow down.
